Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Hatmake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatmake tries to clinch there but Rhodes circles away.
Hatmake misses with a body kick.
Hatmake takes one to the chin there.
Rhodes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Mark Hatmake has been cut.
Rhodes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hatmake fails with the takedown.
Rhodes cracks Hatmake with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Rhodes's corner calls for a 1-2. Rhodes obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hatmake dodges the punch combination from Rhodes.
Hatmake throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rhodes's waist but Rhodes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hatmake off to one side.
Hatmake throws a sloppy head kick and Rhodes moves out of range easily.
Rhodes lands a nice shot to the body.
Rhodes works Hatmake's body with a nice hook.
Rhodes lands with a nice body punch.
Hatmake misses with a straight right.
James Rhodes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hatmake takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hatmake is breathing heavily.
Hatmake will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

James Rhodes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hatmake takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Rhodes scores with a one two! Hatmake had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Rhodes is working the combinations to good effect here.
Rhodes dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oooh a lovely combination from Rhodes sends Hatmake down but not out. Rhodes dives into side control looking to finish.
Oh Hatmake is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mark Hatmake's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Rhodes in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Hatmake seems to have got his legs back now.

Hatmake moves in looking to clinch but Rhodes pushes him off.

Jeez, Mark Hatmake's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Rhodes ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hatmake on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rhodes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rhodes scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mark Hatmake's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
