Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rick Purcell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Drudge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Drudge looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Purcell swats away the attempt to clinch by Drudge.
Drudge tries to clinch there but Purcell circles away.
Drudge tries to close the distance and clinch but Purcell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Drudge takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Purcell misses with a double jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Drudge looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A slapping leg kick lands for Purcell.
Drudge is looking to clinch but Purcell is avoiding it.
Purcell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Drudge swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Purcell counter with a right hand.
Drudge will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Drudge misses with a leg kick
and Purcell moves into the clinch.
Purcell manages to break the clinch.
Purcell slips a jab from Drudge.
Drudge tries to clinch
and Drudge takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Drudge looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Drudge takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Drudge is rocked!
Drudge misses with a series of wild punches.
Drudge is still on wobbly legs! Can Purcell finish him?
Purcell lands a huge takedown. Drudge is out but the ref is slow to react and Purcell lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Drudge lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
