Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lightning Flash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Faria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faria avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Flash looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Flash avoids the body shot from Faria.
Faria shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Faria showed some decent athleticism there.
Faria seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Faria has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Faria fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Faria jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Flash manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Faria is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Flash will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Flash wants to control but Faria postures up.
Faria is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Flash is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Faria tries for a kimura but Flash is defending well.
Flash is trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Faria advances nicely into full mount.
BOOM! Faria connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Faria throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Flash has his hands clasped together but Faria breaks the hold and Flash is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Faria!
