Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar has chosen Here comes the Pain as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Brock Lesnar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pierre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pierre lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lesnar circles away quickly and effectively. Lesnar fails with a takedown attempt. Pierre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pierre misses with a body shot.
Pierre misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lesnar moves into the clinch successfully.
Lesnar breaks from the clinch.
Pierre throws a head kick but Lesnar moves out of range.
Lesnar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pierre pinned against the cage. Pierre gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pierre. Lesnar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pierre, pushing him back against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Pierre's face as he tries to break the clinch. Pierre has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Pierre wants to break free but Lesnar has control.

Pierre tries to circle away but Lesnar has him pinned against the cage. Pierre has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Pierre gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lesnar.
David Pierre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar. Pierre wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pierre wants to break free but Lesnar has control.
Pierre working hard to break the clinch. Pierre wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lesnar has him pressed against the cage. Lesnar keeps control of Pierre as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Pierre manages to break the clinch.
Pierre pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lesnar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pierre sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lesnar somewhat. Lesnar looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Lesnar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pierre's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesnar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pierre trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Lesnar is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Pierre has managed to free his arm - good work. Lesnar prevents Pierre from standing back up.
Lesnar is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lesnar looks gassed! Pierre is trying to stand up here but Lesnar is controlling him well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pierre misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Pierre throws a one two combo.

It looks like Brock Lesnar has been cut. Pierre swinging wilding here.
Pierre lands with a slapping head kick. Pierre throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lesnar's head. This has been an exciting period of action! Some wild striking there from Pierre.
Pierre throws a sloppy head kick and Lesnar moves out of range easily. Nice uppercut there from Pierre. Lesnar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pierre sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Lesnar takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Pierre lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Pierre lands a right hook to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Pierre. No joy for Lesnar on that attempt. Pierre throws a head kick that Lesnar semi-blocks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Pierre lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lesnar will feel that in the morning. A left and a right from Pierre both land. Nice combination. Pierre misses with a head kick.
Pierre lands a nice looking body kick. Pierre plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Pierre throws a nice looking combination but Lesnar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pierre as he jumps to the side. Pierre closes the distance and lands a one-two. Lesnar fails with a takedown attempt. Pierre pushes Lesnar away with a front kick. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lesnar takes a kick to the side of the head. Lesnar fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Pierre punishes Lesnar's body with a nice straight punch. Pierre lands a nice looking kick to the body. Lesnar takes a step back to recover. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Pierre dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brock Lesnar's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lesnar takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Pierre avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pierre throws a nice head kick!
A head kick misses from Pierre. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lesnar. Pierre connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lesnar crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pierre - the referee stops the clock and Lesnar gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pierre. Lesnar manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Pierre throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. A right-left combo lands from Pierre. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lesnar takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Horrible takedown by Lesnar or perhaps it was just good defense by Pierre which made him look bad. Pierre throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Pierre throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pierre falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pierre won't be happy with that. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lesnar tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Lesnar throwing shots but missing, from side control. Lesnar looks up at the clock and then as Pierre takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lesnar smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Lesnar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pierre is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Pierre is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Lesnar has just dragged him back down to the mat. Lesnar is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pierre has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An elbow from Lesnar crashes against the mat.
Lesnar lands a few punches from side control. Pierre is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lesnar is controlling him well. Lesnar decides to stand back up. Lesnar steps back and let's Pierre get back to his feet. Lesnar gets the takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lesnar is trying to get an arm triangle but Pierre is defending well. Lesnar is looking to take a break and control but Pierre is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lesnar misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pierre tries to escape but Lesnar is in control. Lesnar connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Pierre some visible discomfort.
Lesnar working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Lesnar swings around for an armbar but Pierre sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lesnar's guard. Pierre is looking to stand up but Lesnar won't let him. Lesnar is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Pierre frees his head nicely. Oh but Lesnar has switched to an armbar! Pierre is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
