Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels has chosen Hillbillly Shoes as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrei Arlovski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Daniels! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arlovski slaps away a takedown attempt from Daniels, before circling back to the center of the mat. Arlovski defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Daniels. Daniels shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Arlovski defends it nicely. Andrei Arlovski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Daniels. Arlovski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Arlovski shoots in for a takedown but Daniels shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Daniels shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Arlovski counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Daniels is lucky that one didn't land flush. Daniels tries for a takedown but Arlovski circles away easily and Arlovski decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Daniels's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Daniels can do anything to dispel that myth. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Arlovski thows a big elbow that misses. Arlovski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Daniels keeping moving, preventing Arlovski from controlling successfully. Arlovski stands up from Daniels's guard - Arlovski perhaps looking for a knockout. Arlovski gets a clinch. Arlovski jumps guard.
Arlovski is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Daniels postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels stops Arlovski from standing up. Arlovski working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Daniels. Daniels throws a big right hand that misses. Daniels stands up over Arlovski, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Daniels looks gassed! Arlovski is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Arlovski has momentary wrist control but Daniels slips an elbow through the middle. Daniels scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Arlovski working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Daniels doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Daniels manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Arlovski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Daniels can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniels is working Arlovski over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Arlovski avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Daniels cracks Arlovski with a solid left hand. Daniels really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arlovski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Arlovski keeping full guard, as Daniels tries to pass. Daniels in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Arlovski wants to stand but Daniels is controlling the position. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Arlovski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Daniels shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Arlovski counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Arlovski. Daniels has Arlovski pressed against the cage, preventing Arlovski from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Daniels stops a takedown attempt from Arlovski.

Daniels has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Arlovski is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Arlovski breaks the clinch.
Arlovski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Daniels defends it nicely. Daniels shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Daniels showed some decent athleticism there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Arlovski trying to control here.
Arlovski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Daniels looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Arlovski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Arlovski has hold of Daniels's hands but Daniels slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Arlovski is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Daniels scores with a couple of nice shots. Daniels trying to mount his opponent but Arlovski defends it. Arlovski regains full guard. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrei Arlovski dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Arlovski fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Daniels drives through with a takedown into guard. Daniels with a nice head shot there. Daniels working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Arlovski's head. Daniels throwing strikes from guard but Arlovski blocks nicely. Arlovski doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Daniels preventing the sweep. Daniels must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Daniels lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Arlovski kicks Daniels off and gets to his feet. Daniels with a lazy takedown attempt and Arlovski moves into the clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Daniels goes for a takedown in the clinch but Arlovski prevents it.

Arlovski has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Daniels doesn't defend quickly enough and Arlovski has managed to lock this one up! Can Daniels escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Arlovski on a fantastic submission victory.
