Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blade Kongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blade Kongo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lashley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kongo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lashley misses with a takedown attempt - Kongo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lashley with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Kongo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lashley did well to prevent Kongo getting side control.
Lashley looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lashley pushes Kongo off and gets back to his feet.

so Kongo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kongo won't allow Lashley to get back to his feet.
Lashley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lashley is trying to maintain the position but Kongo is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kongo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lashley sees it coming and defends easily.
Kongo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Lashley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kongo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lashley doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kongo.
Kongo seems to be looking for submissions.

Lashley wants to improve his position but Kongo is controlling well.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kongo connects with a nice short shot to Lashley's temple.

Kongo is nestled in close to Lashley, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kongo stops Lashley from getting back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lashley misses with a wild combination.
Bobby Lashley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kongo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Kongo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lashley avoids it really well and circles away.
Lashley shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kongo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Lashley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kongo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lashley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Blade Kongo dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lashley tries to clinch
and Kongo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lashley's guard now.

Lashley has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Kongo tries to free his leg and advance position but Lashley is retaining full guard.
Lashley pulls Kongo in close to prevent any damage.
Lashley has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kongo off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Lashley fails with the takedown
and Kongo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lashley!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kongo works his way to his opponent's back.

Kongo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lashley has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Lashley is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Kongo is working for a rear naked choke. Lashley is not defending it well and Kongo has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Lashley refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Lashley's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Blade Kongo!
