Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Charack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Mata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mata throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Charack throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The fight stays on the outside here - Charack looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Charack will probably get the nod.

Charack creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mata sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Mata's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Jack Charack overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Charack can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mata is looking to escape.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Charack feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
