Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter has chosen like light to flies - trivium as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vincent Valentine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Melvin Carter!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Valentine was covering up waiting for the punch and Carter finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Carter wants to control from the top but Valentine keeps moving.

Carter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Carter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Valentine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Valentine will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Carter stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Valentine throws up his legs and catches Carter in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Carter tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Valentine! That came out of nowhere!
