Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damian Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefan Tereck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Damian Maia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stefan Tereck! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maia fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Maia feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tereck has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Maia can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Maia drops back looking for a leg! Tereck is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tereck manages to kick Maia off! Maia jumps back into Tereck's guard. Tereck looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Maia slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Tereck is looking for a sweep. Tereck prevents Maia from improving position. Maia advances to mount. Maia is working for a guillotine from mount but Tereck frees his head quite easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maia has control of Tereck's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tereck regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Tereck is desperately trying to improve his position but Maia has a good base and remains in mount. Tereck is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Maia has taken his back.
Maia controlling well, preventing Tereck from escaping the position.
Tereck tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Tereck tries to lock up and control but Maia gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Tereck is wriggling around trying to escape.
Maia looking to secure an arm triangle but Tereck defends it well. Tereck is controlling an arm, preventing Maia from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Maia looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Tereck is looking to get to half guard. Tereck tries to hold on but Maia postures up. Maia is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Tereck is in real trouble.
Maia is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Maia is breathing heavily. Maia working for a choke but Tereck is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tereck is in bad spot here.
Maia looking for the choke but no joy. Maia is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Tereck defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Maia looking to break Tereck's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Tereck remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Maia will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! You can see the frustration on Tereck's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Maia is persistently looking for the submission but Tereck is defending it well.
Maia is trying to stick to Tereck's back but Tereck is turning into Maia. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Maia's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Tereck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tereck won't allow Maia to sweep him here. Tereck wants to get up but he can't break Maia's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Tereck drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tereck jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Tereck wants to control from the top but Maia keeps moving. Tereck must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tereck is looking to work some ground and pound but Maia has wrist control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Tereck displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Maia. Tereck stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damian Maia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Maia takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Maia shoots in but no luck this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damian Maia dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Maia staying out of range there. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tereck. Maia misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Maia throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tereck's waist but Tereck gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Maia off to one side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tereck looks for the body kick but Maia saw that one coming. Maia fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damian Maia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Maia fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tereck sprawls well initially but Maia persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tereck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tereck wants to get back to full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Maia in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Tereck tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Maia!
