The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cocoa misses with a takedown attempt - Wood sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wood misses with a straight left.
Wood lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cocoa circles away quickly and effectively.
Cocoa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wood sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cocoa somewhat.
Cocoa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wood swivels and escapes.
George Wood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Cocoa.
Cocoa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wood defends it nicely.
Wood looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Wood throws a chopping leg kick but Cocoa manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Wood connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cocoa momentarily.
Wood misses with a body kick.
Wood lands with a nice body punch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Donk. Wood catches Cocoa right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Nick Cocoa has been cut.
Wood tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cocoa was well out of range. Poor timing from Wood.

Cocoa checks a leg kick nicely.
Wood fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wood swings for the body but Cocoa moves out of range.
Cocoa dodges the punch combination from Wood.
Cocoa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wood sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wood misses with a double jab.
Cocoa ducks right into an uppercut from Wood.
Cocoa misses with a hook.
Cocoa goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Wood just misses with a punch to the body.
Wood dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wood throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Cocoa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wood won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cocoa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wood is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Cocoa tries to advance to mount but Wood denies him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wood is trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wood is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Wood throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Wood's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Wood duly obliges.
Wood misses with a hook.
Wood lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Cocoa is rocked!
George Wood is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cocoa circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Wood. Cocoa falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Wood!
