Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crock O Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Doyle listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Cole tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but O Doyle paws at him with a jab and circles away. O Doyle keeps the fight on the outside. The fight stays on the outside here - Cole looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cole tries to clinch up. Cole is looking to clinch. Cole gets in close and instigates a clinch. O Doyle wants to break free but Cole has control.
Cole prevents O Doyle from breaking the clinch. O Doyle wants to get back to striking at distance but Cole won't allow it.
Cole tries for a takedown but O Doyle manages to get underhooks.
O Doyle has had enough of the clinch but Cole keeps him there for the moment. A frustrated look appears on O Doyle's face as he tries to break the clinch. Cole prevents O Doyle from breaking the clinch. O Doyle wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Crock O Doyle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cole tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cole tries to clinch there but O Doyle circles away.
Cole closes the distance and clinches up with O Doyle, looking for a takedown. Cole pushes O Doyle against the cage but O Doyle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Crock O Doyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darren Cole. Cole shoots in and drives through. O Doyle sprawls well. O Doyle cracks a nice hook into Cole's ribs. Nice sprawl there from O Doyle as Cole shoots in. O Doyle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

O Doyle dips down and scores with a jab to the body. O Doyle scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. O Doyle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cole moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nice uppercut there from O Doyle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole shoots in for a takedown but O Doyle shows good takedown defense. Cole looks gassed! Cole moves in looking to clinch but O Doyle pushes him off. Cole shoots for a double leg takedown but O Doyle sprawls well. He's pushed Cole's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Cole fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. O Doyle scores with a hook. O Doyle goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Darren Cole has been cut. Darren Cole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! O Doyle drops Cole with a left right combo! O Doyle follows him down to the ground into side control.
Cole is rocked! O Doyle stands up. Cole is still on wobbly legs! Can O Doyle finish him? O Doyle lands with a shot to the body. Cole seems to have recovered his senses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by O Doyle!
Nice jab there from O Doyle. O Doyle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cole tries to clinch but O Doyle is having none of it. O Doyle lands with a hook. Cole tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. O Doyle lands a nice shot to the body.
O Doyle lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Cole fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but O Doyle avoids it really well and circles away. Cole tries to move into range but O Doyle moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. O Doyle lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
O Doyle connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cole. Cole circles away out of range and recomposes himself. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A right-left combo lands from O Doyle. O Doyle swats away the attempt to clinch by Cole. Cole is looking to take this fight into the clinch. O Doyle wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. O Doyle throws a wild combination but nothing lands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Crock O Doyle dominated that round. The cut man is working on Darren Cole's cut. That's time! O Doyle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts O Doyle, as that shot connected.
Cole wants to clinch up but O Doyle keeps it at a distance. O Doyle leaves Cole with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Cole tries to clinch but O Doyle moves out of range. O Doyle sizes up Cole with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Cole takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Cole tries to close the distance and clinch but O Doyle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. O Doyle slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Cole dodges the punch combination from O Doyle.

That's one minute gone in the round. O Doyle lunges at Cole with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cole's hand. Cole is breathing heavily. O Doyle misses with a series of wild punches.
O Doyle's corner calls for a 1-2. O Doyle obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. O Doyle is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cole can do to turn this around? O Doyle connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. The crowd cheers as O Doyle lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cole doesn't seem phased though. Cole feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. O Doyle is looking to stand up but Cole isn't so interested in that idea. O Doyle keeping full guard, as Cole tries to pass. O Doyle wants to get back to his feet but Cole is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! O Doyle is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! O Doyle has escaped and now he's on top! O Doyle stands and steps away. Cole gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Crock O Doyle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cole walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. O Doyle swats away the attempt to clinch by Cole. Cole ducks right into an uppercut from O Doyle. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cole misses with a kick to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. O Doyle is looking to escape. Cole is trying to work for a kimura but O Doyle is defending well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A combination from O Doyle does no damage. O Doyle throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Cole looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Cole seems to be looking for submissions.

Crock O Doyle dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Darren Cole's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

A right-left combo lands from O Doyle. Cole tries to grapple but his opponent circles and O Doyle counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Cole closes the distance looking to clinch and O Doyle counters with a nice uppercut. Cole has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Cole tries to clinch up and O Doyle counters with a left and a right that stings Cole. O Doyle misses with a hook. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cole.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The fight stays on the outside here - Cole looks like he's thinking about clinching though. O Doyle scores with a nice right hand.
Cole walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Cole shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as O Doyle sprawls well. O Doyle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cole gets slowly back to his feet. Crock O Doyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Cole dives in and grabs O Doyle's left leg, looking for a takedown. O Doyle pushes down on Cole's head and hops out. A left lands for O Doyle. Cole shoots in for a takedown but O Doyle shows good takedown defense. O Doyle thuds a left hand into Cole's body. Cole tries to clinch but O Doyle moves away and O Doyle counters with a left and a right that stings Cole. O Doyle stuns Cole with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. O Doyle lands with a nice body punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. O Doyle thuds a left hand into Cole's body. O Doyle stalks Cole and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cole's face. Cole staggers backwards, shaken. Darren Cole has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cole tries to grapple but his opponent circles and O Doyle counters with a three punch combo that has Cole backing up. Cole nods at O Doyle to acknowledge the strikes. O Doyle throws a series of punches but Cole avoids them all with ease. Cole wants to slow O Doyle down by chopping away at his legs. O Doyle slaps away a takedown attempt from Cole, before circling back to the center of the mat. Cole looks to clinch and Cole takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. O Doyle works over Cole's head and body with a nice combination.
And that's the end of the fight! Crock O Doyle showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for O Doyle, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
