Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Stull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamir Amini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stull kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Numb/Encore by Linkin Park & Jay-Z. Jamir Amini acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew Stull! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamir Amini! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Amini or perhaps it was just good defense by Stull which made him look bad. Stull throws a sloppy head kick and Amini moves out of range easily. Stull throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Amini drives through with a takedown into guard. Stull has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Amini is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Stull. Stull throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
You can see the frustration on Stull's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stull tries to improve position but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amini gets to mount! Stull was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Amini jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Stull is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Stull and Amini has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stull struggling a bit here. Stull is looking for a sweep. Stull prevents Amini from improving position. Stull parries the strikes from Amini easily there. Amini is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Stull to escape.
Stull is being controlled here. Amini wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stull keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Stull wants to get back to his feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Stull misses with a head kick.
Stull throws a leg kick but Amini moved away. Stull tries to clinch but Amini is having none of it. Amini shoots in but no luck this time. Amini shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stull pinned against the cage. Stull gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Andrew Stull has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamir Amini. Stull wants to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amini tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stull sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Amini somewhat. Stull has managed to clinch.
Stull has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Amini regains guard immediately. Amini has his hands on Stull's head, controlling the position. Amini throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Amini is controlling Stull's posture. Amini is looking to sweep but instead, Stull has passed into half guard.
Amini gets back to full guard.
Stull has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Stull trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Amini had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Stull is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Amini Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Stull's back instead. Amini looks gassed! Stull manages to reverse the position and now he's in Amini's guard. Nice work there by Stull.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Andrew Stull will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Stull uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Stull pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Amini just misses with a punch to the body.
Stull moves in looking to clinch but Amini pushes him off. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Stull checks a leg kick. Amini fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Stull tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Amini stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stull. Amini changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stull tries to avoid it but Amini manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stull to the ground. Stull escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Stull clinches. Amini is breathing heavily. Stull lands an elbow inside. Stull gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Amini regains guard.
Stull landing with the ground and pound. Amini has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Stull should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Amini has tightened it up now! Stull should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jamir Amini!
