Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Tonal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Poison - Every Rose Has Its Thorn kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Tonal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cory Steel!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tonal throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Steel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Steel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Steel pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Steel on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Steel tries for a takedown but Tonal sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Steel takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Steel throws the left hand but Tonal avoids the punch easily.

Steel shoots in and bounces Tonal off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Steel looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tonal is pulling down on Steel's head. It's preventing any offense from Steel, at least for the moment.
Tonal wants to stand but Steel is controlling the position.

Steel wants to control from the top but Tonal keeps moving.

Tonal pushes Steel off and gets back to his feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tonal darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tonal scores with a crisp jab that stopped Steel in his tracks.
Tonal cracks Steel with a right hand to the side of the head.
Steel bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tonal's head.
Steel throws a hook to the side of Tonal's head but Tonal sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Steel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Steel shoots in for a takedown but Tonal shows good takedown defense.
Jeremy Tonal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cory Steel.
Tonal jabs Steel right on the nose. Steel blinks but takes it well.
Tonal lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Steel at a distance.
Tonal keeps the fight on the outside.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tonal lands a nice shot that snaps Steel's head back.
Steel swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Tonal counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Cory Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Steel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice defenses there by Steel.
Tonal lands with a straight right. Steel didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Cory Steel has been cut.
Tonal looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Steel darts in trying to clinch
and Tonal counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A lazy left from Tonal finds it's target.
No joy there for Tonal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A telegraphed right hand from Steel misses the target.
Tonal scores with the left hand. Steel knows he should have avoided that one.
Steel tries for a takedown but Tonal circles away easily
and Tonal counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Tonal cracks Steel with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Tonal lands a with a good body shot.
Tonal lands a two punch combo.
Tonal with a jab.
Tonal connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Steel has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tonal finds it's way round the side to connect with Steel's head.
Tonal scores with a punch to the head.
A shot to the body from Steel misses
and Steel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tonal scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Tonal keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tonal wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Tonal is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Tonal closes the distance and lands a one-two.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steel is breathing heavily.
A jab lands there for Tonal.
Tonal lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Tonal lands with a big left! Steel is wobbled badly! Tonal comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Steel to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
