Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rudy Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh McCuistion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCuistion has chosen Sunken Hips in Space as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rudy Fernandez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh McCuistion!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Fernandez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCuistion swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fernandez drops back looking for a leg! McCuistion is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McCuistion manages to kick Fernandez off! Fernandez jumps back into McCuistion's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McCuistion keeping moving, preventing Fernandez from controlling successfully.
McCuistion really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fernandez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fernandez pushes down on McCuistion's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Fernandez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McCuistion with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Fernandez is looking for a kimura here.
McCuistion is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fernandez is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! McCuistion is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
