Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Newell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Payn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payn takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Newell lands a slapping body shot.
Payn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Newell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Payn somewhat.

Payn had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Newell is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Payn Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Newell's back instead.
