Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wish Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bone has chosen Thuggish Ruggish Bone as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Mason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wish Bone!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bone staying out of range there.
Bone doesn't manage to clinch there - Mason circles away.
Mason circles away from the clinch attempt.
Some wild striking there from Bone.
Mason slips a straight right by Bone.
Bone throws a right and a left that Mason avoids nicely.
Mason bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wish Bone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mason scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Bone is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mason is looking to take a break and control but Bone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mason slows the pace down.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bone wants to get back to his feet.
Bone prevents Mason from improving position.
Bone is trying to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee asks Mason politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mason prefers to stall for the moment though.
You can see the frustration on Bone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Mason controlling the position from side mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mason has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Mason tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Mason dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Bone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mason fails to land the takedown.
Mason takes a jab right on the kisser.


It looks like Mark Mason has been cut.
Mason ducks right into an uppercut from Bone.
Mason tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bone swivels and escapes.
Bone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mason swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bone shoots and misses

and Mason counters by clinching up.
Bone taking a breather.
Bone tries to pull guard but Mason won't allow it.
Mason is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mason seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Mark Mason.
A shot to de liver by Bone. Beautiful body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bone shoots in and drives through. Mason sprawls well.
Mark Mason has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wish Bone.
Bone lands an overhand right.
Mason walks straight into a right hand from Bone - that's dropped him! Bone jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Mason from any more punishment! Mason complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Wish Bone!
