Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Frint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Parker David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David has chosen Slipknot - Duality as his entrance music. The key to victory for Chris Frint has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Frint!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Parker David!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frint tries to bum rush David with a series of wild strikes but David uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Frint throws a right and a left that both miss.
David will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Frint gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows David to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Frint trying to keep a closed guard but David is proving a slippery customer.
Frint is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

David shoots in for a double leg but Frint sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

David tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no David has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Frint throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Parker David will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Frint is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

David is just content to waste time from the top position. Frint takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

David can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Frint is looking to escape.

Despite being in the dominant position, Parker David just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Frint throws a series of punches but David moves out of range.

Chris Frint is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

David throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Frint was covering up waiting for the punch and David finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Parker David showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Frint throws a series of strikes that have David backpedaling.
David takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Frint pushes David away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, David gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

David tries to move into full mount but can't pass Frint's legs.
David wants to control but Frint is keeping him busy.

David tries to advance to mount but can't.
Frint tries to buck David off but David is having none of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Frint is looking to improve his position but David isn't that keen on the idea.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
