Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Enter Sandman - Metallica. Guilherme Duarte has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva slips a jab from Duarte.
Duarte swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
Silva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Silva steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Duarte.
Duarte looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range.
Duarte misses with a jab, cross combination.
Duarte misses with a looping left.
Duarte looks to throw the jab but Silva is out of range.
A slow jab from Duarte misses its intended target.
Guilherme Duarte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva moves away from the strike by Duarte.

Silva moves into the clinch.
Duarte is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Silva's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Duarte fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Duarte throws a punch but it's blocked by Silva.

Silva is trying to trip Duarte. He has hold of a leg but Duarte is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Silva persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Duarte working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Duarte is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Silva rolls with it to try and escape but Duarte cranks on the arm and Silva is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
