The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hug shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Panasonic as he jumps to the side.
Panasonic is looking to clinch but Hug is avoiding it.

Hug is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Panasonic can't fight it off and eventually Hug manages to take the fight to the floor. Panasonic looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
