The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ceasaigh is looking to clinch but Vriden is avoiding it.
Vriden moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Vriden looks to land a left hand but Ceasaigh moved out of range nicely.
Ceasaigh looks for the body kick but Vriden saw that one coming.
Ceasaigh attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Vriden scores with a takedown into Ceasaigh's guard.
Vriden passes into half guard.
Ceasaigh is trying to get back to full guard.
Vriden is pressing down on Ceasaigh's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ceasaigh is holding on for now.
Ceasaigh wants to sweep but Vriden has passed to side control!

Ceasaigh parries the strikes from Vriden easily there. Vriden is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ceasaigh to escape.
Vriden throws an elbow but Ceasaigh slips to the side and avoids it well.
Vriden misses with the ground and pound.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Vriden drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Vriden throws a strike aimed at the side of Ceasaigh's head but Ceasaigh avoids it well.
