Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Vector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vector comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Metallica : Whiplash kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vector tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Lee is able to avoid easily.
Vector misses with a two punch combination.
Vinnie Vector seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vector throws a head kick but Lee moves out of range.
Lee lands a nice hook to Vector's body. Vector takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Lee throws a jab but it's blocked by Vector.
Lee connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vector momentarily.

Vector escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vector falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lee counters with a nice double leg into side control. Vector won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Vector sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Lee blocks the strikes from Vector.
Lee sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Vector is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vector is not content to let Lee control the position.
Lee tries to move to mount but Vector blocks the move with his legs.

Vector sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vector can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lee passes to side control.
Vector regains half guard there - taking advantage of Lee's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Vector wants to stand back up but Lee manages to pass into side control.

Lee goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Vector rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lee's guard! Nice work there by Vector!
Vector wants to stand and escape but instead Lee has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Lee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Vector wants to hit a switch here but Lee passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Vector there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lee throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Vector on the side of the head.

Vector walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Lee drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Vector swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Lee's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
