Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mike swick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). mike swick looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Ferreira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, mike swick! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferreira has a takedown stuffed. swick looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Ferreira stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Ferreira ducks under a wild hook from swick. Ferreira scores a takedown into full mount! Ferreira has control of swick's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and swick regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ferreira throwing strikes here but swick is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Ferreira is standing up, even though he is in mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. swick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. swick gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ferreira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. swick swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ferreira gets to his feet. swick looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! A jab from swick misses. Ferreira has a takedown stuffed. mike swick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ferreira takes a jab right on the kisser.
Ferreira throws a right hand that swick ducks under and follows up with a left that swick also avoids with ease. Ferreira moves into the clinch successfully.

Ferreira in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ferreira tries to free his leg and advance position but swick is retaining full guard. Ferreira looking to control the position here, rather than advance. swick is looking to stand up but Ferreira isn't so interested in that idea.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ferreira is looking for a kimura but swick is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ferreira to get the leverage. Ferreira controlling the action here. swick won't allow Ferreira to pass to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

swick tries to keep at a distance but Ferreira has taken the fight into the clinch. swick looks to throw an elbow but misses. Ferreira really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. swick throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Ferreira is pulling down on swick's head. It's preventing any offense from swick, at least for the moment. Ferreira has a closed guard, preventing swick from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferreira has swick pulled in close to control his posture. swick tries to stand but Ferreira is controlling from the bottom. swick is fighting to break Ferreira's control of his arms but Ferreira is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. swick should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Ferreira throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferreira is pulling down on swick's head to control his posture. Ferreira kicks swick off and gets to his feet. swick throws a head kick but Ferreira moves out of range.
Ferreira fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. swick blocks a head kick by Ferreira.

Ferreira shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has swick pinned against the cage. swick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ferreira tries for a takedown but swick sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Ferreira. That's going to take a lot out of him. swick looks to clinch and Ferreira moves into the clinch. Ferreira breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ferreira bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in swick's guard. Ferreira stands up from guard. Let's bang! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Ferreira dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ferreira is working for a kimura but swick is defending it quite comfortably.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferreira is in the full mount, landing strikes. Ferreira controlling the position easily from mount. Ferreira looking to secure an arm triangle but swick defends it well. Ferreira takes swick's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, swick is in trouble.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ferreira is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Ferreira showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ferreira, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
