Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aunes Kannunen!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kannunen looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Gruma wants to sweep but no luck.
Gruma keeping moving, preventing Kannunen from controlling successfully.
Kannunen drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gruma dives on top into guard.
Kannunen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gruma can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kannunen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kannunen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gruma doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Kannunen is tightening it up a little... Gruma has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gruma reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gruma taps out! nice BJJ there by Kannunen!
