Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aiden Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Schultz! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schultz has a takedown stuffed. Nice jab there from Wells. Schultz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Schultz gets the takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wells tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Schultz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Schultz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wells keeps working. The ground and pound from Schultz seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Schultz is looking to take a break and control but Wells is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Schultz tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Wells can't do much from the bottom here. Wells sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Schultz seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wells tries to kick Schultz off but Schultz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Schultz takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Schultz is keen to just control but Wells is a slippery customer. Wells tries to kick Schultz off but Schultz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Schultz content to control rather than advance.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wells is trying to maintain the position but Schultz is very close to passing his half guard. Schultz is taking a breather. Wells says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Wells tries to kick Schultz off but Schultz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Schultz content to control rather than advance.
 Despite being in the dominant position, Mark Schultz just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wells throws a hook to the side of Schultz's head but Schultz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Wells throws a hook but Schultz avoids it easily. Wells scores with a sloppy right hand. Schultz should have avoided that one.
Schultz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Schultz lands in his opponent's guard. Schultz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Wells has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Schultz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wells will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wells is breathing heavily.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Schultz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Schultz looking to pass the guard. Wells is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Aiden Wells will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Wells lands with a straight right. Schultz didn't see that one coming. Wells jabs Schultz right on the nose. Schultz blinks but takes it well. Mark Schultz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Schultz drives through with a takedown into guard. Wells can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Schultz controls the pace. Schultz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wells. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wells is trying to hold Schultz in close to prevent damage but Schultz has managed to pass into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Schultz in particular looking to stall.

Schultz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wells is trying to stand up here but Schultz is controlling him well. Schultz is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Schultz seems content to control. Schultz is pressing down on Wells's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wells is holding on for now. Schultz keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
 Despite being in the dominant position, Mark Schultz just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Schultz ducks right into an uppercut from Wells. Wells is looking to clinch.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Schultz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Schultz controls from within his opponent's guard. Mark Schultz has got the better of the ground game so far. Schultz pushes down on Wells's leg and manages to get into half guard. Wells is looking to control Schultz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wells avoid being mounted? Schultz takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Schultz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Schultz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Schultz taking a breather here. Wells is not content to let Schultz control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Schultz shoots in for a double leg but Wells sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Wells connects with a jab. Wells wants to clinch. Wells stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Wells lunges at Schultz with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Schultz's hand. Aiden Wells seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Donk. Wells catches Schultz right on the button with a cross.

Schultz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Schultz is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Wells reverses the position - he's now on top in Schultz's guard. Schultz keeping moving, preventing Wells from controlling successfully. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Schultz holds on and takes a little breather.

Wells stands up and waves to Schultz to follow him. Schultz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Schultz takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Wells is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Schultz fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Aiden Wells has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Schultz. Schultz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Nice uppercut lands for Wells. That snapped Schultz's head back.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Wells scores with a crisp jab that stopped Schultz in his tracks.
Schultz drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Schultz's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Schultz works a leg free and moves into half guard. Well, if Schultz is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aiden Wells. I think Wells has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
