Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Olli Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koko Beware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jokinen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Prodigy - Poison. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Jokinen.
Jokinen lands a front kick.
Jokinen lands with a kick to the ribs.
Jokinen connects with a solid leg kick.
Jokinen feints and then cracks Beware's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Beware down.
Jokinen scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jokinen lands with a slapping head kick.
Jokinen misses with an attempted mid kick.
Beware stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jokinen.
Beware tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Beware chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jokinen can pounce on him.
Beware looks gassed!
Beware slips a jab from Jokinen.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jokinen.
Beware takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice jab there from Jokinen.
Jokinen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Nice sprawl there from Jokinen as Beware shoots in.
Beware has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Jokinen.
Jokinen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Beware.
Both fighters circling a little - Jokinen finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jokinen lands with a thumping leg kick.
Olli Jokinen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jokinen thumps Beware with a low kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jokinen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jokinen scores with a nice right hand.
Jokinen's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Jokinen duly obliges.
Jokinen lands a big head kick that sends Beware tumbling to the mat! Jokinen takes a step backwards and waves Beware back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Beware is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Beware crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jokinen - the referee stops the clock and Beware gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jokinen. Beware manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Beware is still on wobbly legs! Can Jokinen finish him?
Jokinen lands with a slapping head kick.
Whack! Jokinen lands a heavy head kick that drops Beware. The ref tackles Jokinen to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Beware was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Olli Jokinen!
