Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brett Felton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Crabtree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Crabtree will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brett Felton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Crabtree! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Felton has taken the fight to the clinch.
Crabtree is looking to break free of the clinch but Felton has double underhooks. Felton has Crabtree pressed against the cage, preventing Crabtree from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Crabtree wants to break the clinch but can't.
Felton fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Crabtree postures up.
Felton seems keen to control Crabtree's posture. Crabtree throwing strikes but missing. Crabtree stands up over Felton, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Felton is pulling down on Crabtree's head to control his posture. Felton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Crabtree manages to get himself to full guard.
Crabtree is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Felton not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crabtree wants to sweep but no luck. Crabtree is looking to stand up but Felton isn't so interested in that idea. Crabtree wants to sweep here but Felton controlling him for the moment. Felton is stalling in the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Felton pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Crabtree throws a hook but Felton blocks it. Crabtree throws a shot from downtown. Felton moves away and avoids it. Crabtree clinches but Felton breaks the clinch and Felton counters with a takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crabtree is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Felton is controlling him well. Crabtree parries the strikes from Felton easily there. Felton is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Crabtree to escape.
Crabtree wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Crabtree sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Felton is taking a breather. Crabtree says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Felton is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Crabtree sees it coming and defends easily. Crabtree tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Felton manages to move to mount!
Felton wants to control the pace but Crabtree is squirming around nicely. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Felton unloading with bombs!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crabtree is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Felton wants to finish this one by submission but Crabtree is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Felton. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crabtree trying desperately to get to his feet.
Crabtree looks gassed! Felton scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Crabtree?
Felton controlling the position easily from mount. Felton raining down shots from the mount! Felton lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Crabtree hang on?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Felton trying to control but Crabtree is having none of it. Crabtree tries to control the position but Felton now has his back.
Felton has Crabtree flattened out and is raining down punches. Felton is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Felton tries to get the hooks in deep but Crabtree pushed the leg off. Good control from Felton. Felton tries to keep control of the position but Crabtree is staying busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brett Felton dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Felton closes the distance and clinches up with Crabtree, looking for a takedown. Felton pushes Crabtree against the cage but Crabtree circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A jab from Crabtree does it's job there. Crabtree gets in close and instigates a clinch. Crabtree pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Felton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Crabtree looks to score with a jab to the body but Felton is just out of range. A slow jab from Crabtree misses its intended target. Crabtree misses with a hook. Crabtree misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Felton feints and as Crabtree raises his hands in defense, Felton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Felton wants to pass the guard but Crabtree is keeping the position. Crabtree is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Felton is controlling him. Crabtree is breathing heavily. Felton stands and steps away. Crabtree gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crabtree shoots in but no luck this time. Felton has closed the distance and engaged Crabtree in a clinch.
Crabtree is trying to break the clinch but Felton has him pressed against the cage. Crabtree breaks the clinch.
Felton closes the distance and clinches. Crabtree manages to break the clinch.
Felton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Felton is nestled in close to Crabtree, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Felton is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Crabtree defends it well. Well, if Felton is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crabtree scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Felton manages to mount him!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Felton looking to control and managing it successfully. Crabtree has given up his back here.
Crabtree is trying to stand back up. Felton throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Crabtree!
Crabtree trying to control the position but Felton manages to sink in the hooks. Felton is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Crabtree with him. Crabtree is trying to defend but Felton has an arm under the chin now! Crabtree grimaces and is forced to tap out!
