Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tanner Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Guida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson Guida told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tanner Sinclair! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anderson Guida! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sinclair tries for a takedown but Guida sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Sinclair closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Guida did well to prevent Sinclair getting side control. Sinclair trying to control the action but Guida is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Guida manages to get to full guard.
Guida is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sinclair stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guida swivels though and keeps the full guard. Guida working for submissions but it's allowed Sinclair to get to half guard.
Sinclair not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sinclair is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Guida has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guida looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Guida is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guida is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Sinclair pulls his head out easily. Sinclair looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Guida is looking for a sweep. Sinclair is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sinclair wants to control but Guida is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Guida tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Guida shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Sinclair counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sinclair knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guida on the ground. Sinclair is breathing heavily. Sinclair passes Guida's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Guida is not content to let Sinclair control the position. Sinclair lands with a punch from half guard. Guida works his way to full guard. Good work. Guida throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Guida trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Sinclair has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sinclair's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Guida has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sinclair is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Guida. Sinclair controlling the position from side mount. Sinclair lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Guida tries to improve position but can't. Sinclair is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Guida has escaped the position, nice work there. Guida is trying to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tanner Sinclair dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sinclair closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Guida tries to buck Sinclair off but Sinclair is having none of it. Guida is not content to let Sinclair control the position. Guida is trying to get back to half guard. Guida struggling a bit here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Guida manages to get back to half guard. Guida actively working from the bottom here.

Sinclair wants to work for an arm triangle but Guida is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sinclair misses with a takedown attempt and Guida counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Guida wants to free his trapped foot but Sinclair is holding on for dear life with his legs. Sinclair wants to get back to full guard. Sinclair is looking to control Guida's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sinclair avoid being mounted?

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Guida feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Guida drops back looking for a leg! Sinclair is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sinclair manages to kick Guida off! Guida jumps back into Sinclair's guard. Anderson Guida showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Sinclair gets the takedown into side control. Guida sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Guida is pressing down on Sinclair's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Sinclair missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Guida keeping moving, preventing Sinclair from controlling successfully. Guida looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Sinclair is defending well. Guida quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Sinclair has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Guida celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
