Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Cobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phantom Menace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cobra comes to the cage accompanied by Rooster. Menace comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Leroy Brown kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, King Cobra!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phantom Menace!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobra tries to close the distance and clinch up but Menace swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cobra closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Cobra passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Menace!

Cobra misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Cobra goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Menace turns into him and now he's in Cobra's guard.
Menace gets to his feet - Cobra follows without any prompting.
Cobra takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cobra looks to land a left hand but Menace moved out of range nicely.
King Cobra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cobra takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Cobra is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Menace scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Menace darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Cobra looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A telegraphed right hand from Menace misses the target.
Cobra fails with a takedown attempt.
Menace throws a body punch but Cobra moves out of range.
Cobra walks into a left hand.
Menace dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cobra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Menace is fending him off so far but Cobra persists. Nope, Menace circles away and we're back to standing.
Cobra swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Menace counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Cobra has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Phantom Menace!
Phantom Menace is the new light heavyweight champion!
