Cohen comes to the cage accompanied by Season in the Abyss. Thomas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Muse - Knights of Cydonia. Lawrence Cohen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cohen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Thomas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cohen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Thomas is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Cohen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Thomas is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cohen, into his guard.

Thomas is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Cohen wants to get back to full guard.

Thomas is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The fighters are battling for position here. Cohen manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Thomas drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cohen dives on top into guard.
Cohen wants to pass the guard but Thomas is keeping the position.
Cohen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Cohen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thomas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Thomas drops back looking for a leg! Cohen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cohen manages to kick Thomas off! Thomas jumps back into Cohen's guard.

Cohen is looking for a triangle but Thomas pushes his legs off easily.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Cohen pushes a forearm under Thomas's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Thomas is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
