Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jackson Hawk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Percival Butcher!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Butcher darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


It looks like Jackson Hawk has been cut.
Butcher looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Butcher throws a body punch but Hawk moves out of range.
Butcher looks to throw the jab but Hawk is out of range.
Hawk with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A slow jab from Butcher misses its intended target.
Hawk slips a straight right by Butcher.
Butcher lands a lovely overhand right.
Butcher throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hawk shoots in but no luck this time.

Hawk scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hawk is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hawk thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Hawk is trying to work for a kimura but Butcher is defending well.
Butcher avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hawk.

Hawk is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Butcher has managed to free his arm - good work.
Hawk is looking to stall here but Butcher recovers full guard.
Hawk won't allow Butcher to get back to his feet.
Butcher wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Butcher swings and misses with a hook to the body.
No joy there for Butcher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Butcher misses the jab.
Hawk uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Butcher.
Hawk shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hawk has Butcher up against the cage in a clinch.
Hawk tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Butcher avoids it.
Hawk scores with a knee to the head.
Hawk scores a nice knee to the body.

Hawk has picked Butcher up - he's going for a ride! Hawk dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Hawk seems to be looking for submissions.
Hawk thows a huge punch but Butcher dodges it nicely.
Butcher regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Hawk.
Butcher wants to stand and escape but Hawk is having none of it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hawk distracts Butcher with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Butcher kicks Hawk off and gets to his feet.
Hawk shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Butcher as he avoids it easily.
Hawk is breathing heavily.
Hawk takes one on the button.
Hawk shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Butcher as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jackson Hawk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hawk walks into a straight right hand from Butcher.
Butcher looks to score with a jab to the body but Hawk is just out of range.
Butcher lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hawk at a distance.
Hawk tries to clinch up.
Butcher takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Butcher sends Hawk crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Butcher is motioning to the referee to let Hawk up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Hawk is rocked!
Percival Butcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Butcher scores with a shot to the body.
Oh Hawk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Butcher looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Percival Butcher is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
