Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drizzt Do Urden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Drizzt Do Urden! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones has a takedown stuffed. Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Do Urden to the mat! Do Urden manages to get full guard. Jones won't allow Do Urden to get back to his feet. Jones controlling from the top position. Jones won't allow Do Urden to get back to his feet. Jones wants to control from the top but Do Urden keeps moving. Jones gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Do Urden thuds his shin into the meat of Jones's side. Do Urden slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Do Urden lands a nice hook to Jones's body. Jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Do Urden fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it. Do Urden lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Jones shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Do Urden drops Jones with a left right combo! Do Urden follows him down to the ground into side control.
It looks like Mike Jones has been cut. Jones pushes Do Urden away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Do Urden gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Do Urden stands up and beckons Jones to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Do Urden throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range. Do Urden pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Drizzt Do Urden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Do Urden connects with the punch. Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Do Urden looks gassed! Jones is looking for a kimura here.
Jones content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Do Urden is refusing to be controlled, as Jones sits in half guard. Jones prevents Do Urden from standing back up.
Jones looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Do Urden pushes Jones off looking to stand but Jones dives back in and keeps control.
Jones trying to control from half guard but Do Urden is working away.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Do Urden lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Do Urden turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Do Urden as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Do Urden.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Jones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Do Urden gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Do Urden breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Do Urden lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Drizzt Do Urden is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Do Urden looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well. Jones shoots in for a double leg but Do Urden sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Do Urden lands a head kick. Jones smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Jones tries to clinch up but Do Urden circles away and keeps his distance. Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Do Urden which made him look bad. Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Do Urden's shoulder. That is not cool. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Do Urden tries to escape but Jones is in control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones tries for a kimura but Do Urden is defending well. Jones is trying to get an arm triangle but Do Urden is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drizzt Do Urden dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mike Jones's cut. That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A left and a right from Do Urden both land. Nice combination. Jones tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Mike Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Do Urden moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Do Urden lands a head kick. Jones smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Do Urden throws a right and a left that both miss. Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard. Jones trying to control but Do Urden is working from the bottom. Jones lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Do Urden is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Do Urden is breathing heavily. Jones drops back looking for a leg! Do Urden is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Do Urden manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Do Urden's guard. Jones postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Do Urden is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jones, into his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Do Urden has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jones is proving hard to escape from. Do Urden is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jones has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Do Urden is looking to defend but Jones has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Do Urden! Jones pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Do Urden taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Mike Jones!
