Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marty Van Buren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Buren comes to the cage accompanied by Dead Souls. Drake has chosen Kiss - God of Thunder as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Buren throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Drake on the side of the head.
Van Buren lands with a kick to the temple. Drake shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Van Buren moves out of range of the strikes.
A chopping leg kick lands by Van Buren.
Nice sprawl there from Van Buren as Drake shoots in.
Van Buren misses with a few strikes there.

Van Buren lands a left and a right that send Drake crashing to the mat, dazed. Van Buren thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Van Buren throws a leg kick which misses Drake's front leg but catches the back leg as Drake tries to avoid it.
Drake shoots in for a double leg but Van Buren sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Drake looks gassed!

Van Buren feints a jab and as Drake dips his head, Van Buren unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Drake right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Drake falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Van Buren smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Marty Van Buren!
