Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Corey Cloyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Arkham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cloyde will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Cloyde misses with a low kick.
Arkham feints and as Cloyde raises his hands in defense, Arkham changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cloyde looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Arkham lands a couple of elbows.
Arkham working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Arkham trying to control the position from guard on top but Cloyde is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Arkham is pushing down on Cloyde's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cloyde is fighting to maintain full guard but Arkham has managed to sneak the leg through.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Arkham is keen to just control but Cloyde is a slippery customer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Arkham fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cloyde darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Cloyde in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Arkham tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Cloyde!
