Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Filip Baca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and shinooke hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baca comes to the cage accompanied by nech boze da. Baca is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hunter throws a series of punches but Baca moves out of range.
Baca is breathing heavily.

hunter gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Baca with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
hunter working hard to break the clinch.
Baca is trying to maintain a safe position but hunter gets an underhook and turns Baca into the cage.
A frustrated look appears on hunter's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Baca tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. hunter smiles and moves away.
Baca misses with a double jab
letting hunter counter with a right hand.

Filip Baca's cut is getting worse.
hunter scores with a one two! Baca had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

hunter gets a clinch.

hunter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
hunter throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Baca takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Baca swats away the attempt to clinch by hunter.

hunter decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
hunter performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Let's hope that hunter has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

hunter decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

hunter scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
hunter lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Baca at a distance.
hunter scores with a one two! Baca had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
hunter is trying to break the clinch but Baca has him pressed against the cage.

Baca really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

hunter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
hunter stalks Baca and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Baca's face. Baca staggers backwards, shaken.

Filip Baca's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
hunter fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Filip Baca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
hunter swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Baca.
Jab by hunter.
hunter lands a glancing blow to the side of Baca's head.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by hunter!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
hunter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Baca avoids a punch combination nicely.
hunter has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
hunter connects with a body shot.
hunter tries to clinch there but Baca circles away.
Baca takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Jeez, Filip Baca's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
hunter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A left lands for hunter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Baca drops his hands momentarily and hunter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

hunter is trying to break the clinch but Baca is controlling him.

A nice combination there by hunter.
hunter scores with a sloppy right hand. Baca should have avoided that one.
hunter tries to clinch up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

hunter clinches.
hunter has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Baca fails to pull guard.
Baca keeps control of hunter as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

hunter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Baca has him pressed against the cage.

hunter manages to break the clinch.

hunter moves into the clinch successfully.

hunter breaks from the clinch.
shinooke hunter seems to be getting the better of the standup.
hunter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Baca's head backwards.
Baca with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling hunter to score with a decent uppercut.
hunter lands with an uppercut that bounces Baca off the cage and back into rage.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts hunter, as that shot connected.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Filip Baca's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
