Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juan Claudio Huaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Huaman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to .. Henderson has chosen Roundabout as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Juan Claudio Huaman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Henderson! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huaman slips a jab and a cross from Henderson.
Henderson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Huaman napping and manages to drive through into side control! Henderson cracks Huaman with an elbow. That is naaassty. You can see the frustration on Huaman's face as Henderson controls the position. An elbow from Henderson crashes against the mat.
You can see the frustration on Huaman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Huaman tries to improve position but can't. Henderson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Henderson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Huaman manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Henderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Henderson trying to control from the bottom.
Henderson tries to roll over but Huaman keeps him under control. Henderson manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Huaman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Henderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Huaman is one step ahead there. Henderson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Huaman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Henderson stops Huaman from passing to mount. Huaman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Henderson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Henderson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Huaman. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Henderson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Huaman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Huaman prevents Henderson from improving his position. Huaman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Henderson gets back to full guard.
Henderson pulls Huaman in close to prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Huaman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Henderson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Huaman has managed to get both his arms back between Henderson's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henderson controlling Huaman's posture. Huaman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Huaman trying to control the position from guard on top but Henderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Henderson controls Huaman momentarily but Huaman frees himself. Huaman being controlled here momentarily. Huaman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Huaman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Henderson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Huaman manages to get himself to full guard.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Henderson passes easily into side control. Nice work. Huaman tries to pass to full mount but Henderson defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Henderson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Huaman sprawls well. Huaman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Henderson gets slowly back to his feet. Huaman misses with a takedown attempt and Henderson counters with a lovely shot to the body. Henderson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Henderson's corner calls for a 1-2. Henderson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Huaman drives through with a takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Huaman wants to control from the top but Henderson keeps moving. Henderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Huaman is one step ahead there. Henderson throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Henderson is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Henderson passes Huaman's left leg - he's now in half guard. Henderson uses his free foot to push down on Huaman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Huaman. Henderson blocks Huaman's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Huaman tries to hold on but Henderson pushes him away. Henderson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Huaman is looking to escape. Huaman is looking to improve his position but Henderson isn't that keen on the idea. Henderson has control of Huaman's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Huaman regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Andy Henderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Huaman has his takedown stuffed and Henderson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Huaman with a poor takedown and Henderson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight stays on the outside here - Henderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Juan Claudio Huaman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Huaman tries for a takedown but Henderson circles away easily and Henderson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Claudio Huaman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Henderson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Huaman tries to improve position but can't. Henderson wants to control but Huaman is keeping him busy. Huaman sneaks back into half guard. Henderson passes to side control. Henderson works to advance to full mount. Huaman defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Huaman is trying to escape the mount but Henderson keeps good control and instead manages to take Huaman's back.
Huaman is really stuck here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Henderson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Huaman's body.
Henderson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Huaman has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Huaman can't escape the position.
Huaman manages to reverse the position and now he's in Henderson's guard. Nice work there by Huaman.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Huaman looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Henderson is avoiding damage well.
And that's the end of the fight! Andy Henderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Henderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
