Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bill Dafoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian McBride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dafoe comes into the arena with Rooster blaring out of the sound system. Brian McBride is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBride throws a right hand that Dafoe ducks under and follows up with a left that Dafoe also avoids with ease.

Dafoe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

McBride throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dafoe escapes and throws McBride's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dafoe leaves McBride with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

McBride tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dafoe was well out of range. Poor timing from McBride.

That was a close round but I would say that Bill Dafoe will probably get the nod.
