The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Severo.
Frohman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Severo.
Severo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Frohman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Severo shoots in for a takedown but Frohman shows good takedown defense.
Severo is looking to chop away at Frohman's legs.
Severo looks for a takedown but Frohman sprawls well.
Abe Frohman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Afonso Severo.
Severo fails with the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Severo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Frohman.
Frohman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Severo.

Frohman lands a big head kick that sends Severo tumbling to the mat! Frohman takes a step backwards and waves Severo back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Frohman throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Severo is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
