The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McCauley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shark moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

McCauley is trying to get back to half guard.
Shark misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
McCauley manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McCauley can do anything to dispel that myth.

Shark has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McCauley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well McCauley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
