Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ala Potku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potku has chosen Pantera - Drag the Waters as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ala Potku enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Potku looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Potku misses with a two punch combination.
Potku throws a right hand that Machida ducks under and follows up with a left that Machida also avoids with ease.
Machida defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Potku.
Potku swings for the body but Machida moves out of range.
Potku shoots for a double leg takedown but Machida sprawls well. He's pushed Potku's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Potku had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Machida is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Potku Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Machida's back instead.
