Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimbo Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob pickerins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Johnson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Amos Moses - Jerry Reed. pickerins has chosen way of the fist as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Bob pickerins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws out a loose jab but pickerins uses good head movement to avoid it.
Johnson missing with a left hand there. pickerins was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Johnson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Johnson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

pickerins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson.
pickerins fails to land with a series of punches.

Johnson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has pickerins pinned against the cage. pickerins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Johnson sizes up pickerins with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Johnson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps pickerins's head backwards.

Johnson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

pickerins swings for the body but Johnson moves out of range.

pickerins throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.
pickerins scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
pickerins misses with a wild body shot.

pickerins throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Johnson lands a right hook to the body.
Nice uppercut lands for Johnson. That snapped pickerins's head back.

Johnson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of pickerins's head.
Bob pickerins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Johnson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by pickerins.
Johnson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
pickerins is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Johnson rather than just go for the knockout.
Johnson connects with a crisp jab.
pickerins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Johnson manages to avoid it.
Johnson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Johnson is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

pickerins misses with a body punch
and Johnson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Johnson throws a nice looking combination but pickerins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Johnson feints and as pickerins raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Johnson throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johnson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! pickerins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Johnson, into his guard.
pickerins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Johnson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Johnson content just to control the position here.
Johnson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and pickerins is now in Johnson's guard. A big mistake from Johnson there, giving up the dominant position!
That's three minutes gone in the round.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Johnson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Johnson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as pickerins is looking to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimbo Johnson dominated that round.
That's time! Johnson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Johnson lands a nice leg kick that just misses pickerins's sensitive parts.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches pickerins napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Johnson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, pickerins has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Johnson but great work by pickerins.
Johnson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked pickerins off and has taken his back!
Johnson working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. pickerins is doing well to defend. Johnson seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! pickerins is forced to tap and this one is over!
