Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Georges Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jaques gerard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by "Modest" by Peroxwhy?gen. jaques gerard looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
gerard displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.
gerard looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as gerard sprawls well. gerard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has gerard pinned against the cage. gerard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

gerard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten gerard somewhat.
Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silva goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, gerard has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Silva but great work by gerard.

Silva is trying to escape the position but gerard is controlling the position.

gerard is trying to stick to Silva's back but Silva is turning into gerard. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in gerard's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Silva.

Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but gerard manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silva has gerard in his guard.

Well gerard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
