Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fabio Nascimento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nascimento comes to the cage accompanied by PROMENTORY. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues throws a jab when Nascimento was well out of range.
Rodrigues tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nascimento was well out of range. Poor timing from Rodrigues.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Nascimento shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nascimento was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Nascimento prevents Rodrigues from getting the reversal.
Nascimento wants to control the pace but Rodrigues is squirming around nicely.
Nascimento has control of Rodrigues's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rodrigues regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Nascimento can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rodrigues is looking to escape.
Rodrigues is trying to escape the mount.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fabio Nascimento.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nascimento, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
