Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roller Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pinto has chosen Three 6 Mafia featuring Akon & Jim Jones - That's Right as his entrance music. Javier Pinto told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pinto looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Pinto throws a nice head kick!
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silva looks to land a right hand but Pinto moved out of range.
Silva blocks a leg kick.
Pinto lands with a kick to the ribs.

Pinto lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.
Pinto misses with a body kick.
Pinto swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva.
Pinto throws a low kick but it's checked well by Silva.
Javier Pinto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pinto lands a high kick!
Pinto throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Pinto thuds his shin into the meat of Silva's side.
Pinto looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Pinto misses with a kick to the body.

Silva on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Silva is breathing heavily.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Pinto.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pinto - the referee stops the clock and Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pinto. Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pinto misses with an attempted mid kick.
Silva avoids a kick to the body.
Pinto misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silva.
Pinto misses with a head kick.
Silva sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pinto throws a front kick that sends Silva stumbling back into the cage.
Pinto looks to land a body kick but Silva moved away.
Silva avoids the body shot from Pinto.
Silva takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Pinto thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Silva if he has to take too many more of those.
Silva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pinto slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Pinto is pushing down on Silva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Silva is fighting to maintain full guard but Pinto has managed to sneak the leg through.

Pinto has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Pinto mounts Silva! Really nice guard pass there!
Pinto looking for a guillotine from mount but Silva is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
I looks like Pinto might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Pinto has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Silva's face.
Silva is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Pinto has taken his back.
Silva is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Pinto working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Pinto controlling the positon.
Pinto is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Silva has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Pinto has got one arm under Silva's chin. This could be trouble... Silva trying to control the other hand but Pinto gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Silva has tapped out! The fight is over!
