Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Younge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edi Hyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Younge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edi Hyde! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hyde drops Younge with a nice combination! Hyde dives into Younge's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like Tyler Younge has been cut. Younge is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hyde decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Hyde changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Younge looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hyde is looking to take a break and control but Younge is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hyde tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hyde has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hyde has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Hyde clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hyde creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Younge's defenses. Younge wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hyde has him pressed against the cage. Hyde breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hyde should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hyde feints and as Younge raises his hands in defense, Hyde changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hyde is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hyde trying to stand up but can't free himself from Younge's guard. Hyde stays in close to Younge's body and controls the position. Hyde wants to get up but he can't break Younge's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hyde looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Hyde chips away with some ground and pound. Hyde must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Younge looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hyde passes into half guard.
Younge is staying active underneath Hyde, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hyde is looking for a kimura but Younge is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hyde to get the leverage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Younge actively working from the bottom here. Hyde is keen to just control but Younge is a slippery customer. Younge looking for submissions off his back. Younge makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Younge. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Younge had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hyde is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Younge Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hyde's back instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hyde decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hyde wants to work for an arm triangle but Younge is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Younge looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hyde prevents Younge from improving his position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hyde lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Younge is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Younge looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Hyde wants to control but Younge is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hyde is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hyde feints and as Younge raises his hands in defense, Hyde changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Younge lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hyde! Younge looking to secure an arm triangle but Hyde defends it well. Younge is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hyde can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Younge goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hyde is on top in guard.
Hyde really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Younge. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hyde chips away with some ground and pound. Hyde trying to control the position from guard on top but Younge is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hyde throwing strikes from guard but Younge blocks nicely. Younge is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hyde wants to control but Younge is keeping busy and won't allow it. Hyde is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Younge is staying active. Younge is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Hyde has managed to free his arm - good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edi Hyde showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tyler Younge's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Hyde shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Younge's guard. Younge keeping moving, preventing Hyde from controlling successfully. Younge looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hyde passes into side control.
Hyde is looking to take a break and control but Younge is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Younge is looking to regain half guard here but Hyde keeps moving and retains side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Younge stops Hyde from passing to mount. Hyde thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Younge manages to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Younge is trying to get back to full guard. Hyde lands with a punch from half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hyde forces Younge back against the cage and clinches. Hyde lands an elbow inside that Younge shrugs off. Hyde with a knee to the head.
Hyde manages to pull guard.
Younge thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hyde is pulling down on Younge's head. It's preventing any offense from Younge, at least for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Younge drops back looking for a leg! Hyde is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hyde manages to kick Younge off! Younge jumps back into Hyde's guard. Younge is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hyde wants to stand up but Younge is controlling him. Tyler Younge has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Younge postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hyde is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Younge, into his guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Younge is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that's the end of the fight! Edi Hyde comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hyde has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
