Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brock Sweeney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scally Wag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sweeney comes to the cage accompanied by Jesus Walks. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wag throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sweeney closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Wag wants to get back to his feet.

Sweeney feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wag had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sweeney is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wag Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sweeney's back instead.
Sweeney is having to fend off submission attempts from Wag, who is looking to sink in the choke. Wag doesn't have the hooks in though and Sweeney manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sweeney, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
