Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Tzu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Bach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tzu comes into the arena with How I Could Just Kill A Man blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Mac Tzu has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mac Tzu seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mac Tzu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Karl Bach! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bach keeps the fight on the outside. Tzu shoots in for a double leg but Bach sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bach blocks a head kick by Tzu.
Bach feints and as Tzu raises his hands in defense, Bach changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Tzu is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bach trying to control the position from guard on top but Tzu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tzu avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bach won't allow Tzu to sweep him here. Tzu wants to get back to his feet but Bach is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Tzu throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Tzu is looking to stand up but Bach isn't so interested in that idea. Bach throws and elbow that misses. Tzu uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bach's guard. Nice move by Tzu! Bach keeping moving, preventing Tzu from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tzu is looking to clinch. Bach tries a low kick but Tzu avoids it. Tzu tries to clinch up. Tzu is looking to clinch but Bach is avoiding it.
Tzu tries to clinch up but Bach circles away and keeps his distance. Bach throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tzu sees it coming and avoids it easily. Tzu tries for a takedown but Bach circles away easily and Bach counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bach winds up and cracks Tzu with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Tzu taking some punishment here, with Bach in his half guard. Tzu is trying to stand.
Bach wants to take a breather but Tzu is having none of it. Bach working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Tzu is rocked! Bach seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Oh Tzu is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bach looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tzu with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bach seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ground and pound from Bach. Bach has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bach scoring with strikes to the body and head. Tzu is breathing heavily. Tzu wants to get back to full guard. Well, if Bach is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Bach has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Ground and pound from Bach. Bach is nestled in close to Tzu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Bach lands strikes from half guard. Bach slips a nice elbow through Tzu's hands, connecting with Tzu's forehead. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tzu is staying active underneath Bach, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bach keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bach is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Tzu is refusing to be controlled, as Bach sits in half guard. Bach passes the guard and advances to mount! Tzu is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bach lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Tzu hang on?
It looks like Mac Tzu has been cut. Bach with a couple of short strikes. Tzu is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Tzu in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Bach working the ground and pound effectively.
Bach is landing with some decent strikes but Tzu is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bach connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Bach with good strikes from the mount here! Bach with the ground and pound from mount. Bach is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Tzu has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Bach lands a nice shot to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Bach is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tzu can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Tzu throwing hammer fists to the chest of Bach. What's that going to do exactly? Tzu is looking to improve his position but Bach isn't that keen on the idea. Bach landing strikes, looking to finish! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bach pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Bach lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Bach raining down shots from the mount! Tzu is in a horrible position here. Bach smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Karl Bach dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mac Tzu's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Tzu wants to clinch and Bach counters with a single leg into guard. Tzu didn't expect that. Bach not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Tzu is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tzu keeping moving, preventing Bach from controlling successfully. Bach lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Tzu looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Tzu seems to have got his legs back now. Bach stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tzu swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bach throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tzu avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Tzu darts in trying to clinch so Bach counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bach is in close to Tzu's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bach postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Bach scoring with some ground and pound. Tzu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bach gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Tzu wants to clinch and Bach counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Tzu wants to stand but Bach is controlling the position. Bach should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Bach pushes down on Tzu's leg and manages to get into half guard. Bach is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Tzu won't allow Bach to pass to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tzu is trying to stand up here but Bach is controlling him well. Bach tries to pass to full mount but Tzu defends it. Bach looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Bach is pressing down on Tzu's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tzu is holding on for now. Tzu wants to get back to full guard. Bach in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Tzu tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bach!
