The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hussain throws a shot to the body.

Simons III tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hussain swivels and escapes.
Simons III displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hussain throws out the jab.
Simons III ducks under a wild hook from Hussain.
Hussain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Simons III displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hussain throws out the jab.
Simons III misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Hussain fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Simons III looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Simons III looks gassed!
Simons III has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Simons III there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like John Simons III has been cut.
Simons III tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hussain swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Simons III needs to keep his hands up - Hussain had a free shot at his head there.

Hussain listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Hussain lands with a right that hurts Simons III. Simons III looks to clinch but Hussain throws a short knee that drops Simons III. This one is all over!
