Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Allie Potratz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Blanco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pedro Blanco will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potratz connects with a solid leg kick.
Blanco avoids a punch combination nicely.
Blanco misses with a double jab
and Potratz counters with a slapping leg kick.
Blanco moves into range and connects with a jab.
Blanco works the jab nicely.
Potratz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Blanco misses the shot to the body.
Blanco throws out a loose jab but Potratz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Blanco throws a sloppy body shot
and Potratz moves into the clinch.
Blanco tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Potratz smiles and moves away.

Potratz tries to clinch but Blanco moves out of range.

Blanco stuns Potratz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Blanco ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Potratz moves away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Potratz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Pedro Blanco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Potratz moves in looking to clinch but Blanco pushes him off.

Blanco throws a big shot that misses.
Potratz throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Blanco stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Potratz.

and Potratz moves into the clinch.
Blanco struggles to land a body shot inside as Potratz controls his hands.
Potratz tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Blanco avoids it.
Potratz lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Potratz takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Potratz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Blanco looks to clinch
and Potratz counters by clinching up.
Potratz lands a nice knee to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Potratz avoiding damage.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Potratz for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Blanco jumps guard but Potratz stands there with Blanco around his waist. Blanco gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Potratz is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Potratz's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Potratz throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Blanco blocks it with crossed arms.

Potratz looking to throw knees to the head but Blanco is blocking nicely.

Blanco jumps guard and drags Potratz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Potratz tries to free his leg and advance position but Blanco is retaining full guard.
Blanco keeping moving, preventing Potratz from controlling successfully.
Blanco is looking for a triangle but Potratz pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blanco can't keep his opponent in guard - Potratz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Potratz is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Blanco!
The referee warns Blanco that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A nice elbow there by Potratz.

Potratz lands a big elbow.

Potratz gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
The fight stays on the outside here - Potratz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Potratz doesn't manage to clinch there - Blanco circles away.
Potratz gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Potratz.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Blanco is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Potratz gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Allie Potratz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Blanco.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Blanco as Potratz tries to tie him up.
Potratz lands an elbow inside that Blanco shrugs off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blanco throws a lazy right hand but Potratz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Potratz throws a nice looking combination but Blanco bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Potratz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Blanco's hands.
Blanco shoots and misses
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Potratz moves into range and clinches up with Blanco.

Potratz tries to clinch there but Blanco circles away.
Blanco is breathing heavily.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Potratz! Blanco is backing up but he can't get away as Potratz lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Blanco and ends the fight. Great knockout.
