Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mateus Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitana scores with a head kick.
Hitana digs a good body shot into Gracie's ribs.

Zack Hitana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie looks gassed!
Gracie takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hitana lands with a kick to the ribs.
Hitana lands a nice hook to Gracie's body. Gracie takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hitana ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Hitana goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Gracie takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Hitana works the jab nicely.
Hitana scores with a jab to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gracie crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hitana - the referee stops the clock and Gracie gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hitana. Gracie manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Gracie looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Gracie is rocked!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hitana! Gracie is out on his feet! Hitana rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Gracie is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Gracie is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zack Hitana!
