Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jebidiah Knepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knepp comes into the arena with Amish Paradise blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jebidiah Knepp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Watson! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knepp closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Watson did well to prevent Knepp getting side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Watson is looking for a sweep. Knepp is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Knepp tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Watson kicks Knepp off and gets back to his feet. Watson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Knepp shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Watson defends it nicely. Knepp is trying hard to land a takedown here. Watson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Watson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Knepp drops down looking for an ankle pick but Watson pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jebidiah Knepp. That's going to take a lot out of him. Watson lands with an uppercut that bounces Knepp off the cage and back into rage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Knepp looks for a takedown but Watson sprawls well. Watson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Knepp fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Knepp tries to close the distance and clinch up but Watson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Knepp closes the distance looking to clinch and Watson counters with a nice uppercut. Knepp fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Watson avoids it really well and circles away. Knepp is breathing heavily. Knepp moves into the clinch successfully.
Knepp tries to pull guard but Watson won't allow it.
Knepp is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Watson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Watson working hard to break the clinch. Watson wants the takedown. Knepp is fighting it off but Watson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Knepp's guard against the cage. Watson stands up from guard. Let's bang! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. It's a brutal combination of punches from Watson! Knepp is backing up but he can't get away as Watson lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Knepp and ends the fight. Great knockout.
